Subscription issues did not include the political game rules; instead, subscribers were offered these rules and a sheet of errata for an extra $8.00.
Includes rules printed on the same folio paper as the Strategy & Tactics magazine, a map, and one and a half counter sheets.

A second edition of Arabian Nightmare: The Kuwait War was released as a stand-alone folio game in 1991 with a price of $25.00. This version included the introductory and political rules, the Desert Sword expansion and updated articles and orders of battle.
