Chains of Fenrir

  • Description

    Description

In Norse mythology, Fenrir was the ferocious wolf offspring of the god Loki. As he grew, the other gods started to fear that he would become too powerful. Their attempts to chain him down were unsuccessful as he easily burst off anything that tried to restrain him. Ultimately, Odin commissioned the dwarves to craft a chain that was unbreakable. Using six rare elements, they forged the chain that held down the mighty beast.

Bound by the same powerful chains, players must try to break free from their restraints before the other players while collecting as many magical elements as possible.

    Overview of Gameplay

Each player starts the game with a chain of twelve stones (two of each of the six colors) and one stone of each color in his hand. The object of the game is get rid of your chain and have the most stones in your hand at the end. On a players turn he can draw a stone, split one of his chains, or cause stones to be discarded. See the posted rulebook for more details.
